Safety Program

We pride ourselves in the program we have created to assure that each employee has a safe and healthful place to work. Safety is a fundamental and enduring commitment. It’s not a checklist or a priority. It’s a value, and values stay constant.

Fall Protection Plan

Our fall protection plan is second to none. We use the state of the art Frame Pro System which allows our carpenters to have safe access to heights via a bracket scaffold system. It is also OSHA compliant.

Training & Certification Programs

Our foremen have weekly tailgate meetings to discuss safety issues specific to their jobsite and general, common sense situations as well. We have written topics available or they can use hot topics such as weather related safety, recent close calls or something in the news.

We have an in-house forklift certification program. A few hours of instruction, a test, some practice and a nice lunch make the program popular.

Safety Incentive Program

Our Safety Manager, Randy Bell, oversees all the jobsites. When he notices someone going above and beyond or the jobsite is exceptionally clean he has a truck full of goodies he can award. The carpenters dig getting Harley safety glasses or gift certificates to a local restaurant. When there are exceptional actions he can give nail guns, levels or ladders.
